KPI Update Rules

KPI Update Email Notifications are set to escalate as follows:
  • The system checks if the KPI has been updated as per the interval specified under ‘Reporting frequency’ and if not, send a notification. A KPI is considered updated if the KPI Actual and/or Progress Comment for that period was updated.
  • The first reminder is generated to the Reporting Officer if the KPI has not been updated by the specified number of days after the notification was sent.
    i.e. if the Reminder is set to 3 days and notification was generated on 1-Dec, the first reminder will go out on 4-Dec.
  • The second reminder is generated to the Reporting Officer and Responsible Officer if the KPI has not been updated by the specified number of days after the first reminder was sent.
    i.e. as per the previous example, the second reminder will go out on 7-Dec
  • The third and final reminder is generated to the Reporting Officer, Responsible Officer, Business Unit Responsible Person and Administrator,if the KPI has not been updated by the specified number of days after the second reminder was sent.
  • After the third reminder, no more reminders will be generated regardless of whether the KPI was updated or not.
